Beaver Valley Banked Slalom

The Beaver Valley Banked Slalom 2026 will take place Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Beaver Valley Ski Club in Markdale, Ontario.

This signature, community-focused snowboarding event features dual-banked courses and spring park laps, and supports the Markdale Hospital Foundation and the Dillon Ojo Lifeline Foundation.

The Beaver Valley Banked Slalom event was created in 2012 as a memorial for the Beaver Valley snowboarder Jackie Snarr, a pioneering legend in snowboarding. Since its inception, all proceeds from the event have been donated.

To date, the Beaver Valley Banked Slalom has donated $87,000 to the Markdale Hospital Foundation. A treatment room in the ER is named in memory of Jackie and in gratitude to the Beaver Valley community.
